Christian Siriano for Payless SS 2010
Payless has collaborated with Project Runway alumni Christian Siriano once again for the spring and summer 2010 shoe season. This collection is a definite step in the right direction for Payless’ fashion credibility. The prints, fits and not to mention curved platform heels are too much for words. These styles look FIERCE. I will be picking up a few for sure! Doubt I could ever walk in them but I’m going to try for sure.

French Designer Sonia Rykiel has collaborated with H&M for a second time to create a knitwear collection. The spring 2010 collection is filled with stripes and bursts of yellow pink anchored by black and white. This collection has a young Parisian feel that I absolutely love!

This is a new segment of my blog I am creating to give a shout out to the H.A.M (Hot @$$ Mess) of the week. That one particular someone who I think just didn’t quite put on their fashion cap before creating their ensemble that day. My first unfortunate celeb is one of my personal favs so this is bittersweet, but GIRL! WHAT were you thinking?? This is the outfit that Kelis rocked to the 1st Annual Data Awards. My first two thoughts:

Known for their soft-core ad campaigns and colourful creations, American Apparel is on the hunt for the world’s best bum. The lucky winner will become the new “face” of AA’s intimates and briefs line. Two winners will be flown to LA to have their campaign shot and featured online. Top ten receive $300 worth of skin-tight goodies.
So far, I’ve only seen women entering, but I don’t see why men can’t take part. Of course it is you, the public who gets to vote and have your say, so do your part and vote! If the team at AA were even smarter with this marketing strategy, they’d be filming an online reality show called “American Apparel’s Next Butt Model”.
